At P643X, our mission is to work together to build a school community where literacy and communication stand as the cornerstone of our students’ educational career and lifelong success. We will work to create collaborative learning environments grounded in the principles of specialized designed instruction, positive behavior supports, and standards-based instructional experiences where all children and their families feel understood and supported. By providing our students with meaningful instruction centered around foundational literacy skills and functional communication, it is our hope that they will become as independent as possible within their school, homes, and community. These essential skills not only allow students to articulate or express their thoughts and needs, but also to engage in meaningful dialogue, convey information, acquire knowledge, and develop a deeper comprehension of the world around them.
